Smithfield, VA
Paul D. Camp Community College (CAMP) is one of 23 colleges in the Virginia Community College System. Founded in 1970, CAMP is a small, rural, comprehensive, two-year college. Located in Southeast Virginia, its service area includes the City of Franklin, the Counties of Isle of Wight and Southampton, and most of the City of Suffolk.

CAMP classes are often small, encouraging individual attention. Day and evening classes are provided at campuses located in Suffolk and Franklin and an educational center located in the historic Town of Smithfield. Credit and noncredit workforce services and training for area businesses and industries are provided through the College’s Regional Workforce Development Center on the Franklin Campus. High school dual credit classes are offered in area schools, and a growing number of online classes are available for student convenience.
